Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and transfer to Jinja
Upon arrival in Entebbe depending on your scheduled flight, our driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in Jinja which will take approximately 2 hours and 37 minutes. While at the hotel, check in, freshen up, and prepare for your dinner.

Day 2: Exploring Lake Victoria
Immediately after your morning breakfast, proceed for a boat trip to Lake Victoria to the spot where the source the of River Nile starts which will enable you to see different bird species like the Kingfisher and Monitor Lizards afterward return to the shores and have lunch at The French Restaurant and Boat Ride jinja. Later after lunch, you will go Tubing on the Nile and this takes approximately 5 hours while sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful scenery, bird watching as you relax and enjoy nature while floating on the Nile. Retire to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Engaging in white water rafting, Kayaking and Evening cruise
After a delicious morning meal, at exactly 08:00am embark on a journey to the Nile for white water rafting and you are likely to spend approximately 3-4 hours as you get into the wild water rapids of the Nile which is a remarkable experience. Have a lunch break at The French Restaurant and Boat Ride jinja and later return for Kayaking experience on the world’s longest river which will help you discover the beautiful diverse surroundings of Lake Victoria and afterwards return to the hotel, freshen up and prepare for the evening boat cruise till dusk and while on the cruise, dinner will be served. This a perfect calm experience as you witness sunset while on the Nile. Retire to the hotel for midnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
After an early morning breakfast, check out of Jinja Nile Resort and meet your driver who will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park one of the most desired and visited park, it’s naturally gifted with unique abundant wildlife including the outstanding tree climbing lions. The park is 449.9km taking approximately 9hours and 37 minutes via Mbarara- Masaka road to Kasese. You will have a stopover at the Equator along Masaka road and have lunch at Kaveno Restaurant. After the lunch break, proceed with your journey to the park and upon arrival, check in to your hotel rooms, and refresh yourselves before dinner is served. Rest and recharge for the next day’s activity.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and an evening boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
Enjoy your morning meal and after meet with your park rangers and guides for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. With your guides and park rangers, you will move into Kyambura Gorge in search for the chimpanzees though it’s a potential opportunity for bird watching since there are birds found in Kyambura Gorge as well as other primates. This journey into the heart of the gorge is extremely adventurous and exciting especially when you encounter one of the chimpanzee communities, you will spend 1 hour observing their social ways of life and don’t forget your cameras in order to capture all these moments. Later on return to the hotel for lunch, rest and later prepare for the evening boat cruise. You will go for an evening boat cruise on the Kazinga fresh water channel that is linked by Lake Edward and Lake George which is a great opportunity for you to spot the wildlife found in and around the Kazinga Channel and it’s also an important birding area because it hosts different bird species. Later on return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Game drive in the Kasenyi plains and Ishasha setor
After your morning breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi plains which is a home to numerous wildlife and you are likely to encounter them during your game drive hence you will have perfect photos of different animal species since it has a soaring concentration of animals which is a perfect opportunity for an ideal wildlife viewing. Return to the hotel for lunch and after you will go for a game drive in the Ishasha sector mainly to see the outstanding tree climbing lions. When you encounter the pride of lions, you will have a chance to observe and learn their behaviors and social dynamics and still while on this lion tracking game drive, you will encounter other several wildlife animals. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Return to Kampala
Enjoy your relaxed breakfast meal and afterward prepare your belongings and check out of the hotel. You go for a brief morning game drive and view some animals you might have missed yesterday and later head out of the park and start your journey to Kampala though you will have a stopover in Fort Portal and proceed with your journey in order to reach earlier in Kampala. Upon arrival in Kampala, our driver will drop you off at Entebbe International airport depending on your scheduled flight.
