Detailed Itinerary: 5 Days Kenya Safari to Amboseli and Tsavo East National Park
Day 1: Transfer to Amboseli National park and birding
Depending on your location in Nairobi, your safari will be ready to transfer you to Amboseli national park immediately after breakfast. You will embark on a 4 hours road trip, you will reach in time for lunch and upon arrival, check-in, have lunch and relax for some time. Meet your safari guide in the late afternoon and proceed to the sinet delta for a memorable birding experience. While there, you will be able to spot a variety of bird species including bright pink flamingos, King Fisher, pelicans, Herons, and Egrets, some immigrant birds include Pangani long claw, yellow-necked spurfowl, Taveta golden weaver, and many more. Return to your lodge in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-day game drive
After your morning breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive in the open savannah plains of the park. During the game drive, you will have a clear view of Africa’s highest snowcapped Mountain known as Mountain Kilimanjaro and you will spot a variety of wildlife including all the notable members of the African big 5, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles and many more. You will have a picnic lunch at the observation hill where you have a clear aerial view of the entire park and its wildlife. Return at the lodge in the late evening for dinner and rest.

Day 3: cultural tour and transfer to Tsavo National park
Shortly after having breakfast, check out of the lodge with your luggage and meet your safari driver who will transfer you to Tsavo East National park however you will have a cultural tour in the Maasai community on your way to Tsavo East. This cultural tour will offer you a great cultural experience whereby you will get to know the distinctive culture of the Maasai people, their norms, their cultural songs and dances as well as their dress code. Have lunch en route and progress to Tsavo East national park. Upon reaching Tsavo East national park via Buchuma gate, proceed to your booked lodge, check in your rooms, relax until dinner time and after dinner, you will spend the night at your booked lodge.

Day 4: Full-day game drive
After early morning breakfast, meet your safari guide with your packed lunch and depart for a full-day game drive in the open short savannah grasslands of the park and around Galana River this will offer you a great game viewing experience because you will be able to spot a variety of wildlife including as Lions, Black Rhinos, Cape Buffaloes and Leopards, Senegal bush baby, Bushbuck, African wildcat, Blue and Bush duiker, Masai Giraffe, East African Hedgehog, Spotted and Striped Hyena, Impala, and much other wildlife. Have a lunch break and proceed with your game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, meet your driver with your luggage and set off for the last game drive of your 5 Days Safari Amboseli and Tsavo East National Park observing many other wild animals including the nocturnal animals.
